A position has become available less than 10km north of Melbourne CBD in a well-established modern General Practice. Our client is dedicated to providing their patients with only the highest quality of care and is committed to promoting good health and well-being. The position is a part-time role working 3 days per week – perfect for a school parent seeking a work/life balance.

Hours/Days: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday + a Saturday shift every 4th week (4 hours).

Very appealing working conditions, your day will be filled with various tasks. Working at the front desk, you will be providing professional support as a Medical Receptionist - each day will present new and challenging responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Meeting and greeting patients at the clinic
• Data input into the system – registering patients
• Scanning documents, etc
• Schedule any appointments as necessary
• Preparing patient accounts
• Accepting and receipting payments
• Answering telephones
• Handling general enquiries
• Use of Best Practice Medical Software

Previous experience within a private general practice and knowledge of Best Practice is highly desirable. The ability to work within a large team environment in a fast-paced practice whilst maintaining outstanding customer service skills will guarantee you this role.
