Our client, a well-established private surgical practice is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their professional team of highly skilled surgeons. Be part of this fantastic team, as you support and be supported by your fellow colleagues. This group of surgeons specialise in Upper GI, general and weight loss surgery. Your warm and welcoming manner will be appreciated as you work closely with the Senior Medical Receptionist, Practice Manager and administration team managing all facets of running a busy front of house.

The surgeons are dedicated to achieving the best results from surgery and are committed to working with patients to provide the highest level of care. To support them in their work, you would have a passion to develop and grow with the business with the rooms based in Eastern Melbourne.

The principal responsibilities of the role will include:

• Meet and greet patients
• Handle phone enquiries
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Prepare and receipt of consult accounts
• Assist patients with admission enquiries
• Pre-op and post-op communication with patients
• Diary management
• Use GENIE medical software (software training provided)

• Ability to liaise effectively with surgeons, allied health team and fellow admin staff
• Kind, understanding and willing to learn new skills
