Working in beautifully appointed rooms, our regarded client is seeking an experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist to join their dynamic administration team. Offering full-time employment, but also happy to consider 4 days per week.

The successful candidate will thrive whilst working in a busy environment, supporting 4 specialists, whilst being well supported by your fellow colleagues. As the practice delivers various treatments and procedures to the valued clientele, you will be stimulated and appreciated, as you provide 5-star service. Days and Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5 pm.

Duties will include:

• Answer the telephone promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
• Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Bill and receipt of patient accounts
• Undertake Banking procedures.
• Operate all aspects of the EFTPOS machine.
• Scan documents
• Prepare documents for mail-out & electronic distribution.
• Open, stamp appropriately and distribute incoming mail.
• Enter data as required with a high level of accuracy.
• General housekeeping of the practice / Sterilising instruments when required.

• Assisting the Executive Assistant when required
• Use of Genie medical software

Successful Candidate attributes:

• Excellent interpersonal /communication skills
• Medical Reception experience
• Excellent/corporate presentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Use of Genie medical software is preferable.
• Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.

The successful candidate will have the privilege of ongoing professional development working in a supportive team environment and offering a generous hourly rate. Hourly rate will also be negotiated upon experience. Previous specialist rooms experience with Genie software knowledge is preferred.
