The Practice

Based in East Melbourne, in modern and spacious rooms, a Plastic Surgeon with a reputation for offering patients the highest quality outcomes through a range of surgical procedures for women.

An opportunity exists for a motivated individual with a friendly and warm deposition to greet patients as they arrive at the practice. With the growth of this practice, an experienced Medical Receptionist is required to join the team to provide administrative support to the practice. This small and close-knit team enjoys professional working relationships focusing on delivering the highest quality service and professionalism to their patients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and ensuring documentation is completed and scanned into the patient record
  • Answering telephone enquiries
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Confirming appointments – SMS and calling
  • Patient accounts, billing and receipting
  • Mail management
  • Maintenance of the reception and waiting room area
  • Direct communication with the surgeon and support to the medical secretary

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Previous medical reception/administration experience is preferable
